We enable people to own part of large scale wind farms and have the clean, low cost electricity generated supplied to their homes by our utility partners. Our unique offer presents never before seen challenges in website and app development as we learn iteratively from our early adopters how to build experiences tailored to their needs.
This is a rare opportunity to work for an ambitious start-up as we begin to scale.
The role
You will build and own our development road map and backlog, driving best value and ensuring our website and app are as good as they can possibly be. You will be practical, empathetic and decisive with a relentless focus on delivering what the business needs as well as what our customers need. You will ensure integrations of new customer offerings are seamless and that our platforms evolve with the technologies surrounding them.
You will be an expert communicator, bridging stakeholder engagement, research, design and technology. You will help us create online services which are easy to understand, desirable and can be navigated effortlessly.
You will be part of our in-house tech team developing Ripple’s website and app to delight our members.
Required:
- Experience in a role defining online services, such as mobile apps and websites.
- Expert communicator who can balance the business needs, with technology and visual design
- Expert in data driven iterative product design
- Expert project management skills
- Experience writing high quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Experience with Jira or similar agile management tools
- Experience in responsive design
- Experience working in an agile team
