Ripple is a revolutionary clean energy ownership platform.
We enable people to own part of a large scale wind farm or solar park and have the green, low cost electricity it generates supplied to their home or business via the grid.
It is a completely new customer offer and presents never before seen challenges in UX as we learn iteratively from our early adopters how to build experiences tailored to their needs.
This is a rare opportunity to work for an exciting start-up as it grows, both in the UK and beyond.
The role
You will ensure our customers love using our website and app from sign up and switching supplier right through to integration with smart home energy technologies.
You will lead our UX work in partnership with our in-house Tech team. You will be an expert in gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data, balancing a design ethos based on empathy with technical constraints to create seamless customer journeys.
Required skills:
- Ability to solve complex customer and business problems using logical and methodical thinking
- Good understanding of responsive and modular design
- An agile, flexible and highly pragmatic approach to work
- A good understanding of the constraints and practicalities of modern web UX
- Expert in data driven design
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective UX design process
You must have the right to work in the UK
Required experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Wireframing and design tools
- Mapping out customer journeys
- Working within a team that learns iteratively
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
