Winter consumption vs generation!

Since WT1 began generating our leccy bills have been covered by the combination of it's returns thro' Octopus together with generation from the PV on our roof. So all working really well. As winter progresses and PV declines, wind generally increases to help offset this and certainly November returned the highest monthly generation to date, for us 437 kWh's. With winter now making it's presence felt in the cold snap then for December the gap between consumption and generation is growing daily. Figures for November and December to date are shown below. Can't wait for WT2 to come on stream and hopefully close the gap next winter! I should perhaps explain that we are totally reliant upon electricity for all domestic and transport needs.

November Consumption= 1038, Generation PV = 305, WT1 = 437. Deficit = 296 kWh's

December Consumption to date 593, Generation PV=100.6, WT1=102.1. Deficit= 390.3 kWh's to date. Come on wind, Wakey, Wakeeeey..........Ooops, showing my age now!๐Ÿ˜…
