We enable people to part own large scale wind farms and have the green, low cost electricity they produce supplied to their homes via the grid. There is no one else that does what we do, so this represents a unique opportunity for a digitally savvy, content-obsessed, driven marketeer to really make a name for themselves with genuinely ground breaking activity.
We are looking for a candidate experienced in leading digital and social media channels for a B2C brand. You’ll lead the strategy right through to the content execution across all our paid and organic digital marketing channels, ensuring engaging and effective reach amongst our target audience. In so doing, you’ll play an essential role in our marketing plans and have a seat at the table as we build and growing our already rapidly expanding business.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop first class content ideas designed to surprise, delight and inform our audience, turbo charging our consumer acquisition efforts through our social and digital marketing channels
· Develop a highly efficient “always-on” paid-for social media approach. This will also include liaising with the external agency team to drive continually optimisation and improvements to the plans
· Champion the development of engaging blog content plans to help deliver improved education and understanding or our product, helping to overcome known consumer barriers to purchase
· Build a launch plan for a highly engaged online community forum by creating/sharing content relevant to drive conversation and interaction amongst our members in an effort to create a more positive interactive relationship between consumers and the company
You'll work closely with the existing Marketing Manager to ensure your plans are in line with the wider marketing and business objectives and take real ownership of the plans from day one, set specific objectives and ROI benchmarks.
There will be occasions where your support maybe required in other marketing functions, such as supporting at events.
- We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work fast and independently when required and who also thrives in a one-team, fast paced start-up environment
- 3-4 years previous experience in social and digital marketing is essential, regardless of industry
- A confident writer and articulate communicator with high levels of attention to detail
- A great eye for what it takes to make stand out visual creative, including video is a strong benefit
- Exposure to product marketing would be an advantage

The location of the role is flexible, either home based, or in our east London or Ayr office (or a combination). You will need to be prepared to travel both in the UK and internationally if required.
