Job Description
Ripple is looking for a creative and data driven Marketing Manager. We are creating a totally new clean energy offering. Our marketing needs to make shared ownership of wind farms and solar parks exciting, compelling and understandable for our customers. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that supports our growth plans. This is primarily a B2C role.
We are a small, supportive team who rely on, as well as challenge each other. This is a pivotal position within our senior team.
Objectives
- Develop Ripple’s marketing strategy and run with it
- Identify our key customers and what’s important to them
- Work with our supply partners to create incredible marketing campaigns
- Build a strong brand with a clear and trusted voice
- Hone our marketing messages, materials and campaigns
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis
- Build and lead a creative and agile marketing team
Responsibilities
- Accountability for marketing budget, spend and impact
- Work in partnership with our creative partners, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
- Manage content and updates for customers
- Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer acquisition
- Using tracking and analysis tools to ensure marketing is effective and costs are minimised
- Present ideas and final deliverables to senior colleagues and supply partners
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in relevant subject (marketing, business or similar)
- Self-starter, able to take charge and lead the marketing brief
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience developing and executing B2C marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Ability to work in work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media tools
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Established press and media contacts

The role will be based in east London although some home working will be possible. There is scope for it to part time (minimum 4 days per week equivalent).
